We had dinner on Sunday, May 11, 2025. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, with warm lighting, tasteful decor, and soft background music that creates an inviting atmosphere. It’s the ideal setting for both a casual dinner and a special occasion. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The excellent food shone through in every bite — the Whiskey citrus salmon was perfectly cooked, and beef medallions were tender and flavorful as were the mashed potatoes and sweet potatoe fries with caramel sauce. Desserts were delightful! Service at Nic & Norman's was exemplary. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. Our server, BV, made excellent recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. As we watched other servers, we could tell they were all on their game. We met two managers, Chandler and Deanna, who obviously care about their restaurant and service. Overall, this restaurant delivers on all fronts — superb cuisine, a warm and stylish atmosphere, and attentive service. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in a welcoming setting. We’ll definitely be returning soon!
Solid food and experience here. Plenty of seating and a decent sized bar inside. Service stood out here, I eat on the road often and this was some of the best service I’ve had. Quick, attentive, friendly, and fun. Ordered the surf and turf burger, which had a crab cake on it. Incredible taste. Had some sort of remoulade sauce as well that was good.
A large group of us came in for dinner on a weeknight an they were all too happy to accommodate us! The manager and his staff were great! Very helpful and accommodating! All the food and drinks were excellent! They offer some nice cocktails which are prepared beautifully and they also have a large list of bourbon, including many new things, not readily available in other places. Some items we tried that were good were their Philly cheesesteak fries – Very cheesy and flavorful! Their starter salad was fresh and their ranch was great! The meatloaf is very nicely made and thick! A huge dinner that comes with some great sauces on the meatloaf and a tasty mashed potatoes and corn bread too! Get a side of their Cajun corn – it was unbelievably tasty! Definitely enjoyed our dinner, drinks, and experience here and would recommend coming here!
Perfect place to celebrate a birthday lunch! Definitely recommend the specialty cocktails! The Brisket Mac n cheese is HUGE! All the food was amazing. Our server was great we were a large party and he was great. The burgers came out with mixed up toppings and he quickly resolved it all. Great atmosphere! Would definitely return if we end up in Lexington again!
Wonderful dinner at Nick and Norma’s. Great reconnection. The bar manager, Scott was an amazing Waiter and took excellent care of us. . The service was excellent and the food was perfect. Bloody Mary was superb. Thanks Scott! Can’t wait to come back to this place. Highly recommend.
We had an incredible experience at Nic & Norman’s in Lexington, and a huge part of that was our server, Scott. From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made great recommendations, kept everything running smoothly, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. Scott went above and beyond to make sure our visit was perfect. Our drinks stayed full, the food came out just right, and he checked in at the perfect times without ever making us feel rushed. It’s rare to get service that feels both professional and personal, but Scott absolutely nailed it. If you’re visiting Nic & Norman’s, ask for Scott—you won’t regret it. He truly made our meal memorable, and we’ll definitely be back because of the great service we received. We Love you Scotty!!
We drove 2 hours to go to Nic and Norman's and it was totally worth it. I got the pork shank and it was way bigger than I thought it would be but it was delicious. You could taste the Coca-Cola and the mash potatoes topped with corn was a good pairing. My wife got the smokehouse mac and cheese which I wish I got because the BBQ sauce drizzled on it was soooo good. Overall I would highly recommend checking this place out and would go again.
Had such a great lunch here today! The food was delicious, fresh, and came out quickly. The atmosphere was really welcoming and made it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. What really made the experience stand out was our amazing server, Scott. He was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. His great attitude and service honestly made the lunch even better. Definitely recommend stopping by, and if you get Scott as your server you’re in great hands!

We were there Friday night, in town for a dance competition. We were seated earlier than our reservation time which was a pleasant surprise! Our server Kota was a ROCKSTAR!!! She was so attentive and sweet, we made friends instantly. Her recommendations were SPOT ON!!! We started with the fried pickles which were fantastic. I'm really picky about Ranch dressing? But their's is DELISH..you could put it on a flip flop and eat it!! Lol. I had the "Surf n Turf" burger. Had a crab cake on it. Hands down best "craft" burger I've ever had?!? My side item was the creole corn that Kota recommended. I cleaned my plate. My friend had the Citrus Salmon that was PERFECTION!!! If you are in Lexington, GO HERE and ask for Kota. You'll be glad you did!!! Very cool vibe as well...
